Imran Ashraf started his acting career in 1999 as child artist. Later after he worked in 2011 in drama Wafa kaesi Kahan ka ishaq.
In 2016, he gained recognition for his performance in Dil Lagi, GuleRana and Jhoot. He also won the Viewers Choice award for Best Supporting Actor.

After it, he appeared in Inkaar, Jaal, and Rani Nokrani. Then He performed in romantic drama Kahin Deep Jaley which is a popular drama and was top trending on No. 1 drama. It was one of the biggest dramas of 2019.
In 2020 he worked in Mushk which is written by himself. The drama was quite good and well acclaim.
