Pakistan’s most awaited film, The Legend of Maula Jatt, finally has a release date! It’s going to release on October 13th.
The film is in Punjabi language, directed and written by Bilal Lashari and produced by Ammara Hikmat and Dr. Asad Jamil Khan under the production banner of Encyclomedia.
After much denial that the film will never come to fruition, the film director Bilal Lashari has given an October 13th release date.
It has been considered that “The legend of Maura Jat” is one of the most expensive films ever made in Pakistan. Probably film is having the most expensive cast of the industry. It stars hugely popular stars Fawad Khan as Maura Jat and Mahira Khan as Mukko.
Fawad and Mahira are staring together after 10 years of their big hit serial Hamsafar.
In the addition, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima malik playing major roles as well.

Singers Faris Shafi and Ali Azmat will also appear in the film.
The film is distributed locally by Nadeem Mandviwalla of Mandviwalla Entertainment. Originally scheduled for his 2019 release, the film, which was the highest-grossing Pakistani film to date, will finally hit theaters on his October 13, 2022, two years later.
The Punjabi film is a reboot of Yunus Malik’s 1979 cult his classic His Maura His Jatt.
As director Bilal Lashari said, “His ten-year journey to make the impossible film ends this October in a theatre.”
The legend of Maura Jatt was written by Lashari, with dialogue by Nasir Adib.
